Ponce Body Parts specializes in the import and distribution of auto parts and collision parts, serving both the retail and wholesale markets throughout the island. Its competitive edge lies not only in its wide range of products, from bumpers, hoods, and lamps to structural body parts, but also in the speed and accuracy of its deliveries, adapting to the needs of repair shops, insurance companies, and end customers throughout Puerto Rico. The company began in Ponce 38 years ago as a family business founded by Miguel Flores' father, initially focused on serving local repair shops and small distributors. Over time, the company opened a branch in Caguas, in the center of the island, strengthening its capacity to distribute body parts in Puerto Rico. Before implementing Odoo, the operation was highly manual, with multiple spreadsheets, duplicate processes, and a high risk of errors. The lack of traceability made it difficult to know exactly what was happening with each order, especially considering the high volume of auto parts and auto body parts SKUs they handle in Puerto Rico. At first, Miguel was looking for a solution that would allow him to control his information without relying on multiple systems. That's how he discovered Odoo and decided to implement it with the support of Teknosphere. Since February 2021, Ponce Body Parts has been operating entirely on Odoo, integrating key modules such as Accounting, Inventory, Sales, CRM, and E-commerce.
